Samsung seems to be having a bad 2016.  The company’s latest recall involves 2.8 million top loader washing machines.  It seems the machines run the risk of falling apart while being used, making it possible that injuries would occur to owners and their families if the top detaches from the chassis and crashes on them.  In fact, injuries have already occurred, including a fractured jaw and shoulder injury.  Earlier in the year, Samsung washing machines were exploding and the company’s latest cell phone offering was exploding into flames as well.  All of the company’s recalls have been due to the defects and the high risks of injuries to consumers.

If you are the unlucky owner of one of the affected Samsung washing machines, the company is offering you the choice of sending a repair person to your home to fix the problem free of charge (adding a yearlong extension of the warranty), or to request a rebate which would go towards buying a new machine.  They reward consumers for using that rebate to purchase another Samsung Washer with an extra $150 in addition to the rebate.

If you or a loved one has already been injured by a Samsung recalled product, consult your medical provider and contact  Inserra Kelley Sewell, personal injury attorneys to discuss your possible claim.

My question is regarding the "$150 in addition to the rebate" as stated in your website's description as posted by Craig Kelley. Is this extra $150 truly an extra bonus check for your customer's loyalty and compensation for their extra troubles or is this additional money to be used to specifically buy another Samsung and if not full used will be forfeited?

When I called to find out whether my new washing machine was recalled, I was told Samsung would offer me $674 to go towards another Samsung washing machine or $580 for another brand washing machine. I was specifically told the $150 was embedded in the extra amount offered for buying a Samsung machine. Also, if the machine cost less than $674 then the remaining money would be forfeited. This indicates there is no "$150 in addition to the rebate" offer. Please help me understand what is truly being offered for my inconvenience for purchasing a Samsung product.

I have been trying to call Samsung 5 or 6 time to date and I get a message that there are too many calls but my call is improtant then they hang up. I need my machine fixed

I have tried to call Samsung. The offer is not even worth discussing. They want you to spend another $700 on their merchandize and not compensate you for all you go through. I suggest that no one buy a Samsung product during the holidays. Hurt them where they hurt us - the pocketbook.
