Nestle is the latest food manufacturer to issue a recall of one of its product due to listeria contamination dangers.  The company’s  Drumstick ice cream cone is the product that tested positive in a Bakersfield, California manufacturing plant, so Nestle voluntarily recalled the Drumstick Club 16 count Variety Pack and the 24 count Vanilla Pack.  These Drumstick ice cream cone products were manufactured August 31, 2016 to September 17, 2016.

Listeria contaminations have been in the news week after week, but if you are wondering what symptoms the listeria bacteria infection causes, know that it is not something to take lightly.  It can cause high fever, headache, stiffness in the body, abdominal pain, and intense gastrointestinal symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea.  The infection can cause problems of miscarriage or stillbirth in pregnant women and can be deadly for the very young, the very old, or those with compromised immune systems.

If you or a loved one has already become sick after eating one of the Nestle Drumstick ice cream cones affected, do not hesitate to contact  Inserra Kelley Sewell, personal injury attorneys, after seeing your primary medical care provider to see whether you may have a claim.
