Inserra Kelley Sewell has brought to your attention the issues surrounding Harbor Freight’s recall of 454,000 jack stands as they pose a serious safety risk and they have advised consumers to stop using them immediately.

The company had issued gift cards or replacement jack stands to their loyal customers. Now the company has had to recall some of the replacement jack stands due to a welding defect. A company spokesperson was quoted by stating, “I’m disappointed and embarrassed because we’ve identified a welding defect in a small number of the Pittsburgh 3-ton steel jack stands (SKU 56373) that replaced the recalled jack stands. We’re now adding these jack stands to our recall. Unfortunately, this defect wasn’t discovered during the initial recall investigation.”

If you or a loved one has or have been injured by a Harbor Freight Jack Stand, please call the experts at Inserra Kelley Sewell to see whether you might be entitled to compensation.
