phil&ted USA, working in cooperation with the CPSC and Health Canada, announced a recall of jogging strollers to repair a defect within the hinge mechanism that poses an injury risk.

The company has received three reports of incidents which resulted in injuries to adult users. One such incident involved a finger tip amputation.

phil&teds brand Sport v2 and Classic v1 model strollers, both foldable three-wheeled strollers are involved in this recall.

Serial Numbers

Sports V2 – 0308/0001 to 0510/0840

Classic V1 – 0308/001-0510/0906

Consumers should stop using the recalled items and contact the company for a free hinge-cover kit and repair instructions.
