A $40,000.00 jury verdict was rendered in Cheyenne County Nebraska against a local KFC/Taco Bell restaurant.  Apparently, the employees of that particular restaurant had what was called “special servings” for police officers and their families, which would have the employees spit or urinate into the food.  Sidney police Officer Keith Andrew and his family were sickened by tainted food in October 2005 and brought a claim against the restaurant.   While there are no punitive damages in Nebraska, this jury was as disgusted by this story as I am.
