Traumatic Brain Injury

Sometimes, a simple headache is the only symptom of a traumatic brain injury; but traumatic brain injuries can have many degrees of severity and manifest themselves in many ways.  Always be on the lookout for symptoms which can include can include pain, nausea, seizures, confusion, memory loss, a change in personality, depression, irritability, and other emotional and behavioral problems. The consequences of traumatic brain injury can range from a mild headaches to permanent physical, cognitive, and behavioral / emotional impairments, seizure disorders, breathing impairment, paralysis, coma and death.
